The Challenge
Professional Fulfilment Services is a logistics company that offers comprehensive global solutions to its clients, operating from warehouse facilities in both the UK and Europe. Specialising in designing and aligning end-to-end supply chain solutions for online businesses, ProFS covers a range of services from global freight, order processing, and stock optimisation to automated returns processes.
ProFS acquired a new location at GLP’s recently built G-Park logistic development, after relocating from their previous location in Bedford. Their lovely new space has a stunning and picturesque view overlooking Willen Lake in Milton Keynes.
Our client wanted an office space that not only had an impressive aesthetic but also fostered a positive work environment for their employees. Oaktree Interiors was entrusted with the exciting task of designing, building and delivering their new office facilities.
The Solution
The project included the meticulous fit-out of high-end executive offices and a state-of-the-art meeting room facility. Additionally, a dedicated breakout area was created to offer their team a space for relaxation and rest.
On the top floor, a cutting-edge, soundproofed modern meeting room with ‘Crittall’ glazing partitioning was built. This room was purposefully crafted to encompass and convey our client’s professionalism to potential customers, leaving a lasting impression. The welcoming executive offices on the top floor incorporated vibrant furniture selections to inject life into the environment
The first floor was allocated for the development of a fun and unique breakout area, characterised by an open-plan and inviting layout. This floor also featured a tea-point/kitchenette, a games area, and a relaxation zone with breathtaking views of Willen Lake. To provide employees with secure storage for their belongings, storage lockers were installed.
A modern and inviting reception area was designed and built on the ground floor, leaving a great initial impression on clients as they enter the space.
What Oaktree Delivered
Incorporating colour throughout the office was important in creating a positive atmosphere. Pops of colour were introduced through furniture and biophilic elements, significantly influencing the overall look and feel of the office. Each detail, from flooring selections to lighting fixtures to door finishes, was thoughtfully considered to align with the client’s requirements.
Our client moved into their new space, on time, and was very happy with the final result. Oaktree succeeded in designing and building an office space that conveyed professionalism, integrated ProFS’ branding, and provided an enjoyable environment for both employees and customers.
